Heaux Heaux Heaux....what's your favorite Xmas song?
....mine is and will forever be...Please Come Home For Christmas...by whoever covers it but especially when me and my Dad would sing it together.

Bells will be ringing
The glad, glad news
Oh, what a Christmas
To have the blues
My baby's gone
I have no friends
To wish me greetings
Once again

Choirs will be singing
"Silent Night"
Christmas carols
By candlelight
Please come home for Christmas
Please come home for Christmas
If not for Christmas
Then by New Year's Night

Friends and relations
Send salutations
Sure as the stars shine above
It's Christmas time, my dear
The time of year
To be, with the one you love

Then won't you tell me
You'll never more roam
Christmas and New Year's
Will find you home
There'll be no more sorrow
No grief and pain
Then I'll be happy, happy
Once again

There'll be no more sorrow
No grief and pain
But I'll be happy
Christmas
Once again

5. That Christmas song is my favorite.
The only one I can tolerate, really. I think Charles Brown sang the original, huh? Being born and raised in Lafayette, LA, I'd hear that one all the time. :)

8. My all time favourite
Edited on Sun Dec-11-05 11:15 AM by auntAgonist
is "I'll Be Home for Christmas" by whoever sings it.

I remember years ago when I was a child, watching a "King Family Christmas" on tv. It must have been late 1960's. One of the King family mother's was singing that song and her SON walked on stage in full military uniform, obviously to her great surprise. I remember crying and crying , hell I'm in tears now thinking about it. ..
anyhooo that's my favourite Christmas song.

I wish ALL of our troops could be HOME for Christmas, but that's a whole other thread isn't it?
