I'm Gonna Be A Grandma!!!

Just got the news yesterday. My very first grandchild.

My son and beautiful daughterinlaw got a great laugh out of it when they called. I COULD NOT SPEAK....all I could do was stammer, stutter and weep.

I am so excited!

You will love being a grandma!!! I sure do! My g-daughter calls me "Grammy"...when first learning to talk, she called me "Gamma", then "Gammy", and one day she changed it to "Grammy".

You will have fun! There are so many things and gadgets and more that I sure wish were around when my son was little :)

Most of all you will just adore being a grandma! It's so much fun :D
Hope you get to be there for the birth. My son and DIL wanted me there. It was the single most intense moment of my life beyond actually giving birth.
