You know 'the season' is starting when
you find yourself trying to make it to a minimum of three parties a night on the weekends, and all you really want to do is sit around in your pyjamas reading & maybe eating toast.

This time of year always leaves me feeling stretched kinda thin.

At least I roped someone in to coming along with me  Boy will HE be sorry

2. We have a holiday cocktail party tonight.
It should be fun. And as it's a cocktail party, it should be finishing up early enough that we can still go out and catch our friends' band afterward.

6. The band plays a mix of 70s funk and soul and a few newer things.
