Let's put the Cat back in Xmas!
Edited on Sat Dec-10-05 04:54 PM by Seabiscuit
'Twas the night before Cat-mas
When all through the house
Not a kitten was stirring
Nor chasing a mouse.

The stockings were hung
By the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Kittyclaws
Soon would be there.

The kittens were nestled
All snug in their beds
While visions of catnip
Danced in their heads.

Ma Tab with her whiskers
And I in my cap
Had just settled down
For a winter's catnap.

When outside the house
Came such noise and such strife
So startled was I
That I used up a life!

.......

When, what to my wondering
Eyes did appear
But a feline-sized sleigh
And eight tiny cat-deer.

With a little old driver
So lively and fit
I knew in a moment
He must be St. Kit.

.........

But I heard him meow
As he drove out of sight
"Happy Cat-mas to all
and to all a Good Night!"

(with apologies to Virginia Unser: "The Night Before Cat-mas")

3. I did. It's yesterday's news. Perhaps cat people are just unfriendly.

Hmmm... maybe *that* will get under people's fur enough to start posting?

(what am I saying?!!! I'm a cat person!)

I have some shopping to do for my two younger cats. My older cat's Cat-mas toy is already ready. I got it last week. She likes stuffed animals, small ones, so I got her a teddy bear. The other two seem to like to play with toys, but they already have tons of them. I am thinking about getting another one of those light up balls that lights up when they hit it, considering they like to play a 3:00 a.m. in the dark so much.

10. The cat has never ever been removed from Christmas
cats are so involved in Christmas that should you ask we cat people can give you proof of how involved cats are in Christmas. I'll go out on a Christmas tree limb here and say that it's probably the favorite time of year for cats. :) btw why do we have no cat smileys?
