Anybody have any good appetizer recipes for a Christmas day dinner?
Something you can just pick up and eat, not requiring any utensils.
Thanks!

that don't require utensils, other than a plate or napkin, that is.

- Puff pastries filled with either sweet or savory stuff.

- Prociutto wrapped asparagus or breadsticks.

- Mini cheesecakes

- cheese and crackers

- fresh fruit cubed or berries

Crab Spirals with Lemon & Dill

The compatible flavours of lemon and dill combine with crab to make tortilla wrapped bite-size appetizers. Great make-ahead treat.

Product(s) Used :
Clover Leaf Crab Delectables™, Leg Style Ingredients

1 pkg (250 g) spreadable light cream cheese

2 tbsp chopped green onion

1½ tbsp chopped fresh dill (Or use 1 tsp/5 mL dried dill weed)

1 tbsp lemon juice

¼ tsp pepper

4 8-inch/20 cm spinach wraps

1 pkg (227 g) Clover Leaf Crab Delectables™, Leg Style

Preparation Time : 15 Mins or Less
Chill Time : 2 hours

Combine cream cheese, green onion, dill, lemon juice and pepper; mix well. Spread evenly over spinach wraps.

Place 2 crab legs, end to end, on each wrap; roll up tightly to enclose crab. Wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate 2 hours (or overnight). Remove plastic wrap; slice into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.

4. prunes wrapped in bacon and broiled
they sounded really weird to me too, but they're amazingly tasty. Just wrap the bacon aroung the prune, you can halve it--secure with a toothpick and broil. My SIL swiped the idea from a very upscale restaurant in Germany. Really---trust me.

12. For ultra-easy
slice of smoked salmon spread with cream-cheese and rolled up - this can then be left in the fridge for aeons - when needed slice the roll into half-inch bits. Very easy to fit around the rest of Christmas day cooking, and goes wonderfully with champagne.
