Ever think that someone else thinks that you did something bad,
even though you didn't do it?

How does one deal with a thing like that?

1. Well, if I ever think that I ever think
that someone else thinks I did something bad, even though I did not do it...

Oh crap..now my brain is making clanking noises....

In any case, if I know I did nothing bad, I just leave other people to think what they will.

2. What if it's your boss?
And he's been acting weird toward you for the past few days, after a really odd coincidence happened that circumstantially could imply that you did something bad, which is why you think that he thinks that you did something bad?

3. I have had that happen,
I have a good relationship with my boss, so I nonchalantly went up to her and asked "anything you need me to know?" I have stressed with my bosses that immediate feedback (the next day) is appreciated, since I am on a shift pretty much alone and without guidance.

I am not sure how comfortable you are with your boss, but getting things out in the open works for me.

I'm sure things will be okay.

6. I've only been working there in the single-digit weeks
Him thinking I did this would be pretty bad, too

8. I'd ask to talk to my boss in private
and ask him if he thinks I did that "wrong" thing and explain to him that I could sense his concerns.
I'd then tell him my side and let him know that I didn't do it.

Good luck

4. I'm sorry. This is too convoluted for my small brain.

9. I always think that
In fact if I do-do something bad, (like get in a flame fest in GD) I feel doubly so. Just give yourself a break and realize it's just old stuff from when you were a kid. At least this was what it was in my case. I used to get in trouble for things I really never did. You need a hug.
