3. There is a lot of beauty.
And there are a lot of beautiful people, too.
Not skin-deep, but people with good, kind hearts.
They're the ones who give me hope.

5. you are right
the every day people, that give you a smile, help you with something ...

I notice in my job how happy people are if you help them with a smile on your face. I always say I love to do it, it comes with my job. It is highly appreciated. And sometimes I even get a thank-you-note just for doing my job.

7. me too
my co-worker came to work yesterday and told me they had a new cat. Not a kitten. They got a 15 year old cat but they already have an older cat, so it works. It made me want a cat also  That yearning doesn't stop.

11. Yep
My roomie has a 14 year old cat, and had another cat who had to be put to sleep several years ago. Nonetheless every time she sees kittens she wants a new one. She won't get one though, as she's afraid the older cat won't adapt well to a kitten romping around. Perhaps after the older cat passes she might get a new kitten (which hopefully won't be for several more years).

13. I know how she feels
when I visited my mom last weekend, I came into the apt and called my late cat (she lived the last 10 years with my mom). My mom told me "Don't be so mean". Because Octavia always came to the door when we came home (or came running when she didn't hear us earlier). My mom misses the cat also.

29. language is so confusing
you posted a red X, or a kitten taking aim. Either way, you were not posting  to my first joke attempt. I was apparently kiloparsecs away from being funny. Of course, I assumed that the kitten was taking aim at ME for my joke attempt, when it could have been taking aim at a songbird or even a stray dog.

Really, there is only one surefire way to get a laugh ....

Seriously, they are looking for a gun-toting kitten picture. You must submit it immediately!

I have a picture of my kitty tearing up a roll of toilet paper, but it's just not the same!
