2. Other than a lot of office banter, not so much.

I haven't even noticed any extra clouds or anything, and I live in North London. Mind you, it is dark a lot at the momment :)

Hemel's a town in southern Hertfordshire, Hampstead is a suburb of North London.

Not really - I'm about 20 miles West.

I was woken at 6 a.m. on Sunday by the sound of the blast. On Sunday and yesterday I could see some of the smoke drifting over. The petrol station where I buy my newspaper in the morning had run out of fuel yesterday due to the panic buying (but was back to normal today, folk having calmed down since then).
