JOE SIMPSON TEACHES YOU TO BE "AN A-LISTER IN LIFE"

Got $60 burning a hole in your pocket? You can spend it January 14 to attend a "motivational seminar" featuring Joe Simpson. The event will be held at Maximedia Recording Studios. From the release:

Joe Simpson, manager of pop singing sensations Jessica and Ashlee Simpson; Chris Harrison, host of the hit ABC television show The Bachelor; and Felicia Culotta, longtime personal assistant to Britney Spears will give the inside scoop to being a star in show biz or any career. Their motivational seminar will give tips for being an A-lister in life, and how to put together an award winning gameplan for pursuing the career of your dreams. These Hollywood insiders will also share their behind-the-scenes stories of what it’s like working in one of the most cut throat industries around. Whether attendees are looking to be the next pop icon, hot TV star or realize that dream job--this seminar will provide the tools necessary from experts that have been part of history making careers of their own. Emcee of the event will be celebrity radio host, Kellie Rasberry, of the hit syndicated show, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning.

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

1. Kidd Kraddick?
I remember when he was a Dallas-area DJ on KEGL 97.1 FM, giving away a new car at the Galleria as part of a station promo. Had that sort of pre-fab vibe going, but he was alright.

So now he's syndicated? How many markets?

(Sorry to take this off-topic - I'm just curious.)

4. The more syndicated DJs we have...
...the more local radio talent withers away.

I fear the end of an era is coming.
