1. Beatles in two rounds, with five tags
Ringo goes down on the ring apron, drawing the ref's attention. This allows John and George to hold Bob while Paul hits him with a folding chair.

2. Not even close
Dylan could write songs. Period.

The Beatles could write songs (Lennon), add hooks (McCartney), play them well (Harrison) and even throw in a novelty every so often (Ringo)

3. Dylan turned the Beatles on to grass, so it's a tie...

4. He was surprised they had never tried it before becauase
he thought the line "...I can't hide" from I Want to Hold Your Hand, was "...I get high".

5. Dylan is a master poet.
Dylan v. Beatles is just no contest in my mind. Bob Dylan has written so much deep and meaningful music. His voice is painful at times, but the words make up for it.

6. No contest... Beatles.....
In My Life....

There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

For No One...

Your day breaks, your mind aches
You find that all her words of kindness linger on
When she no longer needs you

She wakes up, she makes up
She takes her time and doesn't feel she has to hurry
She no longer needs you

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

You want her, you need her
And yet you don't believe her when she says her love is dead
You think she needs you

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

You stay home, she goes out
She says that long ago she knew someone but now he's gone
She doesn't need him

Your day breaks, your mind aches
There will be times when all the things she said will fill your head
You won't forget her

And in her eyes you see nothing
No sign of love behind the tears
Cried for no one
A love that should have lasted years

Two of the most beautiful and precious lyrics ever written.... These two are great examples of their ability to talk in heart wrentching, understandable ways about love, regret and life...

Dylan tried to hard....

The sweet, simple lyrics of the Beatles speak to all no matter where the listener stands on the generational line....

7. In a fight, I think Dylan could take them.
McCartney's a big rodent-faced wuss, and Ringo probably wouldn't fight very hard.
