3. I may be looking to adopt a baby after the new year.
My older cat has no playmates since we moved away from my 5 "grandchildren" (4 cats, 1 kitten).

7. they're all terrific, but I have a soft spot for Vixen...
though Bribe is fantastic. I love the fox though... such beautiful, misunderstood, persecuted animals.

10. I love them too. We believe one had her kits in a den in our backyard--
because one day we were on the deck, and one of our ferals came sauntering through... suddenly a fox came out of nowhere and chased that poor cat away. Two furry streaks across our backyard and into our woods. We figure the cat must've walked a little too close to a den's door. What a fox. ;)

9. I had to go with Bobtail.
We had a couple of pet racoons when I was a kid. They make very unique pets.

12. Pets?
Wow. Sometimes I get the idea that I could tame one of ours, but we have our hands full w/ feral cats. But I love to watch them eat. Their noses move.

14. They lost their mother when they were very small.
We raised them with the barn cats, and they just kind of became part of the family. Unfortunately, the female (Sarah) died, and the male (Sonny) ran off to find a girlfriend the next spring. They ate a lot of cat food, vanilla wafers, and marshmallow cakes while they were at the ranch.

18. That I can't say.
Wild raccoons don't tend to be all that friendly, so I don't think I would chance it. You can bet, though, if you just put a few of them outside your window, you'll get to watch him eating them from the inside.
