Here's an idea for a game show: /Twenty-Five Million Dollar Pyramid/

Pyramid series of game shows, except that the prize would be twenty-five million dollars, and there would be many more squares - perhaps fourty or fifty - in the pyramid, and the amount of time you'd have to complete the pyramid would be longer.

However, there would be this unspoken element: the people who set up the game show would calculate the fastest time anybody had solved any previous pyramid in the history of the Pyramid shows, divide that by the number of squares in that game, multiply it by the fourty or fifty squares in the new game, and subtract five seconds from it.

In this way, whoever is to win Twenty-Five Million Dollar Pyramid would have to do so quicker than anyone ever had previously won any Pyramid game show, though they probably wouldn't know it, and more importantly, no one would ever win. This study in want for extreme wealth and frustration would go on five nights a week.

This is an idea which deserves exposure, in my opinion.

Actually went on to name "Georges", a whole other category I don't think I would have gotten nearly that fast, before she even found out she got it right.

...it happens to be the record time to complete the pyramid as I was looking for: 26 seconds.

So 26/6 = 4.33... per square.

Let's say we have 45 squares...that would be 195 seconds to complete the record. So on $25 Million Pyramid we'd give the contestant 190 seconds.
