3. Oh come on SmileyBoy.
Fan loyalty is great but in the end it's just a game. You won't find a football fan who hates The Ohio State University more than me here but I don't hate their fans. The Packers have extremely loyal fans, as loyal as there are in all of sports. There's nothing wrong with that.

5. Sorry, but I'm just kinda pissed at them tonight...
They're laughing at four Vikings players being charged with misdemeanors today, when they should be thinking about their crappy season.

8. Yeah I know.
But that boat incident dealt with sex and that gets a lot of media attention.

11. Exactly
and if the Vikings had been, say, undefeated before this boat cruise, I am guessing we would not have heard much about it.

6. but darling
when a fan's team has a superbowl ring and your team has got none, why should he or she take crap from you, even if you can quote Balzac and Shakespeare and all them other high falutin' Greeks?

9. I am pretty sure that Bart Starr and Gilbert Brown
are still Packer fans. I am not sure about Desmond Howard and Andre Rison though.

nb - I did say "fan's team" not "fan"

12. Forget it Smiley Boy, the "Pack" is as much of yesterday's news as...
...the memories they hang onto. We've got a big game this Sunday, that may put us in the driver's seat. Just imagine the fun you'll have if the Falcons could beat the Bears, too! In short, Packers who???? We've turned our "boat" around...

17. It's not the win-loss record...
It's the attitude of the players.

In Wisconsin, we were happy to be rid of Mark "More Moral Than Thou" Chmura, Reggie "Da homer-sexers is under da bed" White, and a few others.

No doubt there are Viking fans happy to be rid of Randy "Moon" Moss.

Seems just about every year someone on the Cowboys' team gets nailed, usually for doing meth or cocaine.

And simply showing up for that big "Sex Boat" party was really stupid, much less participating.

18. Actually....
...I was sad to lose Randy "most overblown moon incident in football history" Moss. Especially, since racist Joe Buck was the one who made it a national issue....

Otherwise, I understand what you're trying to say....

20. Another overblown incident....
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 01:52 AM by Robeson
...I love how the national media demonized Moss. He was turning down a street, the wrong way, she jumped on the hood of his car, he was driving to pull it over, and she fell off when he put the brakes on. Most witnesses who saw the incident, said she was the one who seemed out of control.

Honestly, how many outlandish comments have you ever heard Randy Moss make? Terrel Owens can do more in one week, than Moss did in his entire career at Minnesota. Yet Moss is compared to Owens. Ridiculous. He's not brash, and really doesn't talk that much at all.

21. Well, Owens...
Owens is practically re-inventing the words "NFL asshole."

I guess it all boils down to guys earning WAYYYY too much money and who never have actually matured, since they had people covering for them for too long.
