Haha! SNOW DAY! You Gotta Love It!

We get a pile of snow and freezing rain and school's off for the day! I get a three-day weekend. Last Friday, we had that "other" storm, and our school got dismissed early (11:30 AM). But this time they must have just said, "Oh, fuck it!" and given up entirely.

Cool. Now I can chill on DU and write and practice piano and whatever. Oh, and shovel later, but c'est la vie.

I thought you were tough, like the people in Wisconsin, Minnesota or upstate New York.

We are wimps here in Philadelphia, so I expect schools to close.

But Maine schools closed? Say it ain't so.

Yup, we actually are quite chicken. Well, the superintendents are. Last week, during the "other" storm, our superintendent drove off the road. So I guess he learned HIS lesson.
