7. I remember wanting to see that so bad back when it aired in '78.
I'd looked forward to it all week. (I was ten years old then). Then I started watching it, and I can remember thinking: "Am I the only one who thinks this is crap?"

I mean it was just AWFUL!

Whatever Lucas had been smoking when he wrote that steaming pile of shit, he should have got his money back, 'cause it was all seeds and twigs, man.

And a coked-up Carrie Fisher? Too much, man. Too much.

All I know is that Lucas greenlighted the project, but was so busy with Empire Strikes Back, that he had no idea what a mess it was.

21. I heard it on the XM holiday channel last year!
I believe that was done by Meco, who also did a disco version of the Star Wars theme, and a rap version of the original Ewok celebration song. (ugh).

Boba Fett's lines "You are alone?" and "Maybe I can help you." are sampled by UNKLE on their album "Psyence Fiction". I saw the Holiday Special for the first time this year and that was the only highlight.

Sad thing is I remember seeing previews of that back during the WCW Nitro days . . . and remembering what a bad idea that was lol.

I just remember a kid crying out "SANTA" and Hogan Claus stands up to save the day "Blares trumpets"
