"Beware of all enterprises which require new clothes."
Words to live by, I say.

Edited to add: I'm going out to buy some clothes now.

7. Thoreau probably never had an entire wardrobe of jeans, all of which
have multiple holes from wear.

I would NOT call that a screw-up by any measure!

And you have several days in which to do your make-over......

Good for you!

Let us know how it goes, OK?

13. I'll do that.
I like my prospects. They're located about six blocks from my house, so that's a big plus.

19. Someone said "Enough is the root of prosperity."
I'm not sure how that applies here but it works for me. :)

21. What happened to the book-typography deal?
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 10:19 PM by Redstone
Just answer that, if you please, and don't ask me what happened to that other deal, because that has turned into a hernia of major proportions, and I'll apologize for any time you may have put into it. Of course you have a right to ask, and I'll answer you tomorrow because you deserve an explanation; just not tonight, OK?

But I'd like to hear about what made the book deal apparently go sour; if I remember right that was going to cover your overhead so you wouldn't have to get a (shudder) job.

Redstone
