I just don't understand Christmas, I guess.
I like getting presents and sending Christmas cards and decorating trees and all that, but I'm still not happy. I always end up feeling depressed.

Charlie Brown, you're the only person I know who can take a wonderful season like Christmas and turn it into a problem. Maybe Lucy's right. Of all the Charlie Browns in the world, you're the Charlie Browniest.

2. Hehehe, I'm a devout agnostic, but I still dig it when Charlie Brown
yells "Can't someone please tell me what Christmas is all about?"

And Linus looks at him and says

Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you. Lights, please. (A spotlight shines on Linus.) "And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the fields, keeping watch over their flocks by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day is born in the City of Bethlehem, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men'". That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie brown.

and does it so casually . . . I always dug that scene :P

3. Well, it's just that it happens EVERY damn year!
If it happened once every 2 years, people would get into it more and appreciate what it's supposed to be about. Hey. I think I'm on to something here.

4. I just hate that Linus never gets to see the Great Pumpkin.
Same problem every year!

5. I agree. It's very sad. But how about a Charlie Brown Festivus
Special? Let's run that up the flagpole and see who salutes.

6. For once I'd like to see him actually kick the football.
At least at Christmas everyone ends up loving his "tree"
