Jessica Simpson is officially closing the curtains on her marriage.


The "With You" singer filed for divorce from her estranged husband
Nick Lachey Friday, citing the ever-popular "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split.

According to the filing, the divorcing couple's "community and quasi-community property unknown at this time" and the petition will be amended once said property is sorted out.

Dukes of Hazzard star has requested that the judge not award spousal support to Lachey.

Simpson has reportedly hired high-powered divorce attorney Robert Kaufman to represent her, while Lachey has reportedly engaged legal eagle Laura Wasser. Both lawyers are seasoned veterans of defending A-list clients and can boast a bevy of celeb cases under their respective belts.
