Temperatures took a plunge in London today and yesterday, and look set to continue falling. Reminded of the value of good friends lately - is there anything nicer than spooning with a loved one under a warm, clean duvet? Because if there is, I'd like to buy a packet.

You knew one of us "loners" would have to say something here. Cuddling up with my cats is way better for me. They take up less of the covers because they do not like to be under the covers. They do lay on top of my chest and legs though. I get toasty warm, settle down, watch television all happy like and wiggle my toes. Plus, people snoring irritates me whereas the trio of "classic" snoring sounds that my cats make is like music to my ears.

Now, it's time for me to wander around in the yard and make the neighbors talk. I wonder what spoils of being the "crazy lady at the end of the street with all the cats" have brought me today. I'm collecting baseballs, you know. I have tons of them. People really should put their names on their balls if they want to keep them, ya know. :evilgrin: :hi:
