I'm hungry for the first time since Tuesday night
and I actually drank 1/2 bottle of water without getting sick.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but could this possibly mean that I'm getting better?

I think I'll slap a tiny bit of butter on my one piece of toast to celebrate!

:woohoo:

1. Wake the kids and call the neighbors!
Edited on Sat Dec-17-05 08:50 PM by GOPisEvil
Well, if I HAD kids I'd wake them, and if I knew my neighbors' phone number I'd call them. ;)

I really hope the worst is behind you.:woohoo:

Can Spaghetti-o's be far behind? ;)

7. Let's make it through 24 hours of bread AND butter.
After that, I think saltines will be safe.

11. Actually, that would be the one upside
I lost 5 pounds in 5 days. Unfortunately, I'm sure they'll come right back when I start eating again. x(

Ah well. I'd rather be chubby and healthy than deal with this crap for much longer.

I'm going back to work tomorrow, I figure I've taken more than enough time off since it's a new job and all. I'm not exactly digging ditches, so I'm sure it will be fine.

Be ready to go home if you get all tired or something, OK?

OK, OK, now I sound like your mom!

But I hate to see my friends working when they're under the weather....

14. hahaha, no actually
my mom sounds more like this: "Are you still alive? You got to the doctor ok, right? I mean, you didn't wait forever, did you? Do you want me to fly out there? Really honey, please go to the doctor (AGAIN) if you don't feel way better tomorrow. Did I mention that I could fly out there? Cuz I could. But I'll see you in a week. And if you're not better, you're not going back out there..." and so on. ;)

If I honestly don't feel better tomorrow, I'll call in sick AGAIN. Hopefully not though.

Thanks for your concern! :loveya:

20. Most big grocery stores have it. Look in aisle with oriental foods
It is very good for various stomach problems. Ginger also good anti-inflamitory. There are capsules (health food stores) for those who really don't like ginger.

Very good for motion sickness. Really. I mean it is amazing and won't make you drowsy.

Good to add grated or dried ginger to foods. Helped a pal who had the WORST morning sickness... only it was all day sickness for weeks. Made a chicken dish with LOTS of ginger and garlic. First meal she kept down in weeks and also the end of her morning sickness.

Ginger is our friend!

18. I feel your pain
I was really sick in November - not fun.

Feel better soon. Don't make your first real meal a spicy curry dish - it was a mistake.
