Though FWIW, I have a very weak gaydar. I have two very good friends that I had been friends with since junior high, and didn't have strong suspicions either of them were gay before they came out to me- many years later, in both cases, when we were in college!

In Lindsey's case, there is a subtle thing about his demeanor and also the fact that he's still unmarried at his age. However, I generally don't like to take into consideration the "not married" thing, just because I don't believe it's positive to assume someone is gay simply because they are still unmarried in their middle age. Not because I have anything against them if they do happen to gay, I just don't like the automatic assumption that comes with someone still not being married later in their life, as there are plenty of other reasons for not being married.
