Today I would be Mozart if I could
Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 02:43 PM by oneighty
I would hear the voice of God singing her music into my head. I would have the lovely Constansa clutching my arm and loving me. I would be conducting my musicians and draw forth from them the beautiful music God has sent.

The audience would cheer and I would bow accepting without embarrassment the adulation I and God richly deserve.

I watched Amadeus again last night with my daughter and my grand daughter. And that was beautiful too.

Sigh.

1. My big regret in life: Not learning to play the piano.
However, I plan to remedy that soon. I am getting Dr. DemoTex a piano for Christmas (a Yamaha C-1 baby grand). Part of the deal includes some piano lessons. She will use some of the lessons to get back up to speed, and I'll start taking piano from scratch. At least my oboe and bass violin experience has me up-to-speed reading music.

When I sit down at a piano keyboard, I too fantasize. Would that I were a Andre Watt or Vladimir Horowitz! I do love the piano.

Just imagine how good I might be if I spend as much time practicing the piano as I do on DU!

2. I played Trombone
And got no help from anybody at all. I have been thinking about getting a violin to play with.

Wife says "You keep right on thinking that Edward."

Sigh

Good luck Pilot.
