I'm stuck in Queens and need to get to Newark Itnt'l-- goddamn MTA strike

My flight is at 8-- I need to get to Port Authority to get to Newark by 5 PM.

I called a cab 1.5 hours ago.

2. Can you catch a train (LIRR) to Penn station.
Then take the path to newark. I think there are transfers along nj transit to newark airport.

3. there is NO way to get into Manhattan from Queens unless it's by car
I NEED to get to Manhattan- then I'm fine.

4. Double check that you can get onto the Island because
they were saying this morning that they weren't going to allow cars onto Manhattan unless there were four riders. Don't know if they meant cabs as well.

I believe they have shuttle buses from LaGuardia to Newark Airport. They may not be impacted by the strike.
