What's the best toaster oven?
I am going to buy one as a Christmas gift, but don't have a clue as to what specific model to buy. Any suggestions? Thanks.

1. I bought a Black and Decker for a friend. I haven't heard any
complaints about it!

Good luck!

6. B and D was my first choice
However, I looked it up on the internet and it gets very poor consumer ratings---in fact all toaster ovens get poor ratings, except for one, and that particular oven isn't available to me, hence the question.

2. What are they going to use it for?
Are they actually going to be cooking with it or is it just to toast and heat stuff up? If they are going to use it to cook you may want to consider a convection/toaster oven. They heat faster and more evenly (and cost more.)

What you get by spending more are features like additional heating elements, non-stick interior, digital timers, etc.

Both Krups and DeLonghi make good toasters IMO.

3. Get a gay person to convert you, and then you convert someone else...
No need to spend any $ at all. Except for the first date...

17. Epinions.com is your FRIEND. Excellent place to check out different
brands of toaster ovens, etc, for their overall quality.

A crappy toaster oven is just a crappy toaster oven that gathers dust.
