...

on edit: oh, you said "city". Well, I guess the city my Grandparents lived in, since it reminds me of them...

2. Home, just home
Especially Johnny Mathis' "Merry Christmas" and the Nat King Cole Christmas Album. I can close my eyes and see Mom putting the platters on the old "hi-fi."

Wow!

Thanks for the memory recall! Very cool!

3. Boston, I think, since I've spent time there, and they celebrate Christmas
in a big way. And it's in the NorthEast, snow country and sleigh bells. But I don't tend to think of big cities, so much, when it comes to Christmas. I think more of the boonies, where I live, rural and serious snow country, with woods and mountains, and lots of evergreens. And I didn't say that I preferred this, you understand, since I don't much like snow, but this is what Christmas music makes me think of...:D

4. Salt Lake City
but then I listened to a lot of the Mormom Tabernacle Choir as a kid.

Second choice would be London, it's not Christmas without the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from Kings College, Cambridge

7. Interesting question
For some reason, "Silver Bells" always made me think of New York.

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style...

That says Macy's and Gimbel's to me, for some reason.
