For you guys who use Match.com

I'm pretty good a spotting scams. There are a few ladies, usually young, beautiful ladies who post profiles seeking guys, of all ages, including those way to old for them. I'm not sure if it's one poster or a team of them, but they usually claim they are local, but currently in some foreign county and looking for love when they get back. There's always a sob story about how they lost their parents or can't find them. Well my lady friend (who I did not meet on match) and I decided to gave some fun and e-mail one lady having a UK address. A few e-mails and then, right on time, the urgent e-mail, about coming home but needing a thousand dollars to make the connecting flight. (There will probably be a variation on the theme... We had a bet on how much money she (or he) would want) So, you old farts over 40, if she's 22, somewhere else, on-line, and wants you......it's a scam. FYI

PS Nothing against dating younger or older etc. I dated a young lady for 2 years almost 20 years younger than me. But we met IN PERSON.

and yes, I use AFF.com, and there are even more fake ads from women that claim to be american, but in reality are probably dudes from africa
