Wow. I just saw William Shatner do a PETA ad on Fox Sports South
They're showing a poker tournament. Same game as everywhere - tx hold'em. Why no five card draw? Why no seven card stud? Anyway...

I'm watching this and a commercial comes on and its Will Shatner - vastly underrated, imho, and he's holding a dog in his arms in the immediate aftermath of a hurricane or something, and its dark and gloomy, and he explains, in an urgent and forceful, sincere and passionate manner, that if you can't take your pet with you, if you MUST leave him/her behind, then do not leave them chained or caged - many animals die in disasters because they are restrained, and cannot escape.

And on the screen the whole time was PETA.org and a 1-800 number.

A good message, produced by PETA, well delivered, by WIlliam Shatner, on Fox Sports South, airing a poker tournament.

:D

5. I've seen him kick a horse in the ribs!
It's a goddamn subjugation of another species. Sure, he doesn't EAT them, but he sure likes bossing them around. Horses have NO RIGHTS in the presence of Bill Shatner!
