So "Goofy Dad" comes out to meet me in Santa's Sleigh...

...which is a pickup, with a driver, carting me, a pillow, and a Santa suit around the county to deliver gifts to needy lil' tykes. :)

Anyhow, Dad has clearly been outside for awhile.

"Are you guys heading up to that yellow house?"
"Yes."
"Great!! I'll be right behind you!"

So we go in, I do the ho-ho-ho-ing, two boys in the single-digit age (I'd say five and six, maybe a little older) clearly nonplussed. Ten seconds later, in walks Dad, yelling "OH MY GOD, BOYS! BOYS! IT'S SANTA CLAUS!! IT'S SANTA!!"

Kids eyes get huuuuuge.

Turns out Dad dressed up as Santa last year and was called out, big time, by the kiddos. So this year, he leaves and says "I'm going to go see if I can find Santa," and the boys rolled their eyes. Mom told the boys to humor Dad, he really loves Christmas, etc. etc. etc.

My appearance, with Dad standing next to me, was the greatest. Thing. Ever. :thumbsup:

Happy whatever, people. Rest easy there are some dads out there that rule. :toast:

If you can give kids saucer eyes, it's just that much better.
