I Am Very Drunk

This is not often the case, but it certainly is tonight. Met the parents of our daughter's boyfriend, and there was a great deal of wine about the place. Had a very nice time: they are people who would fit right in here....

A co-worker, who has relatives who live in Mexico, gave me a very, very nice bottle of tequila for Christmas, and I've been sipping it all night. I feel this slight buzzing in my head that tells me I really, really do not want to be doing anything with sharp objects, but it's so damn mellow. It's sitting on top of a nice glass of warm cognac, so I dunno if that had sumpthing to do with it.
