It's not us, it's the republicans who wage war on Christmas
The birthday of the prince of peace, the one who came to relive suffering, to offer solace to the oppressed, to rebuke the status quo and speak truth to power; the one who came to teach about love to all people and forgiveness and reconciliation.

Sure, maybe Target says "Happy Holidays", but it's the republicans, with their greed and constant war and fear-based propaganda government, who are waging war on Christmas. AND on Christ himself.

"Happy Holidays" is not anti-Christmas, it is merely recognition that other holidays happen around the time of Christmas, and that not everyone celebrates Christmas.

Killing Iraqi children with white phosphorous in an illegal and immoral war, polluting the earth to death, giving away our forests to loggers and miners, burdening our children and granchildren with unpayable debt, selling the country to China to borrow the money to go into debt, cutting welfare and foodstamps and sending people out into the cold to die of starvation and exposure and lack of healthcare - THAT, my friends, is what truly constitutes waging war on Christmas, and spitting in the eye of the one those criminal assholes say they follow better than anybody else does.

So Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone who follows the path of Jesus and the other prophets of peace, love, and compassion, whether you are Christian or not.

:) That was very well said. Jesus was a rabble-rousing liberal.
