grilled salmon, homemade macaroni and cheese, green beans (made like my grandma used to make them), cheese/ herb biscuits, and cookies/ brownies.

for those visiting who turn their noses up at anything "nontraditional", we are also cooking a turkey brast and making stuffing.

17. mmmmmm
I like the idea of salmon on Christmas... maybe next year.

We did the X-mas eve family dinner... with veggie lasagna, steamed veggies, my husband's funky chicken curry dish that he always makes, Greek salad, rolls, pecan and apple pie that my SIL made (wow!) and lots of wine. And we will be eating more of the same today, plus some roasted chestnuts and gingerbread.

22. several cups of red peppers( fresh or canned) and same of onions
sauteed on medium heat in vegetable oil for about 40 minutes until very soft, then add 3 pounds of skinless chicken pieces, then a lot of curry powder (several tablespoons of the good quality type that you like or make), 1 tablespoon cardamon, 1 tablespoon cumin and simmer for about 20 minutes. It's heavenly.

14. Last night was Ham, Potatoes Au Gratin and fresh geen beans
Today is turkey day with stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish and steamed asparagus and zucchini. Dessert is free picking off one of the many trays of home baked goodies in the kitchen.

Tomorrow should be a brisket but I think I will wait a few days and feast on the leftovers for a while.

21. Well, the presents are still not wrapped, but
the dinner is planned and the pies are in.

Ham, mashed potatoes (for those who got screwed out of them at T'giving)
Sweet potatoes

salad

peas with mushrooms (guest is bringing)

pumpkin pie with whipped cream

Dog has a little pie--no pumpkin--we'll probably put peanut butter on it.

Cheers to all, hope your holiday is the greatest!

Go Seahawks!

Last night included catered sandwiches, salad, spaghetti, garlic bread, meatballs, assorted candy/cookies/sweets, cheesecake, and a variety of beverages (soft drinks and alcohol).

Today was turkey, ham, cheese, rolls, deviled eggs, olives, pickles, green bean casserole, shrimp, pie (pecan and pumpkin), chocolate cake, cheesecake, more cookies/candy/sweets, and plenty of drinks.

:scared:

Yeah, we've definitely got breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire family until New Years'.
