Has anyone seen this commercial?

It's been on MSNBC a bunch.

Now is it just me or is this lady's hairstyle kinda scary? And if the idea here is to teach kids about stranger danger, then why do they have this scary hairstyle on her?

Seems rather oxymoronic to me.

3. Maybe it's to teach kids that they should judge by appearances?
Here's the Amazon site for it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009LS9Y4/103-8545268-9218233?v=glance&n=130

It seems to have a lot of positive reviews.

I guess I prefer to take a fairly dry approach to my kid's stranger safety. To me it's serious business, not entertainment. But whatever works for people...

4. But goofy hair style lady isn't a bad stranger
She's Safe Side Super-Chick

This is just way too strange.

6. I think she's supposed to look like a little kid...
but she also looks like the kind of person I warn my kids about...the ones that seem to go out of their way to appeal to children in an unnatural way.

When I was a kid, there were a couple of men in the neighborhood who gave me the creeps. One of them was always suggesting that I go down to the park sometime so he could "push me on the swings". The other swore he had some wonderful dolls at his house that I'd enjoy seeing.

Fortunately, I never bought it.

7. The Pippi Longstocking look
has never appealed to me.

When I was a kid, my dad had a thing about parks. We were forbidden to play in them without an adult or to even walk through a park. My sisters and I are still scared of parks! LOL

5. Didn't you learn *anything* from Darwin?!
Protecting future generations is just enabling the foolish genes to continue contaminating the pool.
