1. Damn. You must feel almost like...

... a certain someone else tonight.

3. I wouldn't even begin to consider thinking about the idea of
having a notion to get involved in this one.

20. Yes, thank you. And this morning, too. Though I need a backhoe...
Massive office-cleaning project underway.

21. Force yourself to take little DU breaks.
If anything, we can help you fight that urge to clean. :)

5. LOL!
My precious furbabies always have to go and christen a fresh litterbox. Well, cats will be cats. :D

6. If only, Crispi...
One of them christened the floor while I was washing out the box. :)

And, earlier tonight, one of them barfed up on the kitchen floor - in at least 3 different places. I cleaned up two of them. Only two, because I stepped into the third spot - barefoot. Or is that barffoot? :eyes:

Are you feeling better today? :hi:

8. There is NOTHING worse than stepping in cold puke barefoot.
Unless maybe, stepping in warm puke.

I'm a lot better today. I think it's starting to settle down into the garden-variety cold, although I still have the sore throat from hell. How about you, when are you heading off for your family visit? :hi:

9. Well, that depends on who you ask.
Mom thinks tomorrow, but I'm thinking Wednesday.
I have done little else but sleep for the past 2 days. You'd think she'd understand that I don't want to go there when I'm tired... but she's all excited about the grandkids coming.

Glad to hear you're better. Are you off this week?

11. Yep.
And I hear ya about the sleep. That's mostly what I've done too. I think this time of year we need it!

Yes, I'm off all week, although -- get this -- we have 2 days holiday, and 3 days "mandatory" vacation. That's right, the office is closed all week, but you have to burn three days of your vacation during this week whether you want to or not. This is the first year they've done that and it sure pissed a lot of people off.

Is it a long drive for you to go home? Is it still very snowy up there?

14. I live about 3 hours away.
It's just long enough that it's hard to do a 1-day trip down there. (Thank you, Bishop and Cabinet, for moving me so much closer to home. :sarcasm:)

The snow is melting... but we may be getting more later in the week. I hope so, because it will keep the kids busy.

Mandatory vacation? Then they should give everyone 3 days extra vacation... or at least, 3 SOL days.

16. Exactly.
Yes, three hours is a bit long for down and back. That's about from here to Austin. Which I wouldn't like to do in a one-day trip -- it makes for a pretty long weekend, too, down one day and back the next. Anyhoo, drive safe! :hi: Glad to hear it's melting some.

Think I'm off to bed. nighty night! :hi:

18. Oh, I hate it when I do that.
Stepping in anything wet except the bathtub barefooted is such a disgusting feeling.

10. Cats don't expect you to understand them.
And they really don't give a damn if you do or not. That's who they are. :)

15. when it's overflowing,
it's not a good time. When that happens, Oreo is usually after me, biting my arm until I take care of it.

I wish I had the cats when they were kittens - I would have tried to toilet train them. :)
