I'm no fan of snow either, unless I can stay home, bundled up. Unfortunately I never can as I always have to work. :puke: I certainly hope you get to go home--getting stuck at work would stink!

And I'll never go back. I was having dinner on Christmas and just musing about how much I was missing when I was omni, because I never actually delved into how complex veggies could really be. Now I'm discovering a whole new world of tastes, recipies and combinations.

20. Indian recipes are the best

India has a strong tradition of vegetarianism - even today maybe half the people living there are vegetarian. Consequently their vegetarian cooking is more interesting and varied than any we will probably find anywhere else in the world. It's veggie heaven. :) :pals:

But if I recall correctly the last time I tried curry I wasn't fond of it. Still, there's nothing wrong with trying it again.

This weekend I got some Chinese food for the holiday, and it was great. The takeout place around the corner from my house had General Tso's Tofu on the menu so I decided to try that. It was absolutely amazing! I had that along with veggie fried rice and Jade Triple, which is a combination of snow peas, broccoli and string beans in a nice sauce. I have to say I'm fairly addicted to that General Tso's tofu.

22. Be sceptical towards curry houses

"Curry" is a dish invented by Indian ex-patriates for westerners. They are overspiced, overcoloured and generally not of particularly good quality. And they are typically made with meat; an Indian restaurant will probably only offer a few vegetarian options. It is not an authentic Indian dish.
