John Belushi question
I need to know if I imagined this, or if I am remembering correctly.

John Belushi did a famous Joe Cocker impersonation.

Somewhere, deep in the dank corners of my mind, I either remember or fabricated a memory of Belushi doing a Joe Cocker impersonation, and Joe Cocker himself came out behind JB (seemingly, without JB's knowledge) and just stood there watching JB's impersonation.

Did this happen, or was this my fertile imagination working overtime?

1. Nope, it happened
Can't say where or when, but I know they were on stage at the same time.

2. Thanks - I just watched the "Best of..." with JB
last night, and I was really excited when they played the Joe Cocker impersonation . . . but JC didn't show up, and I started wondering if I was full of shit . . .

3. You are correct ...

Just a blurb, the page shows shots Joe Cocker and John Belushi separately, showing the similarities.

4. It was on
Edited on Tue Dec-27-05 10:31 AM by Rabbit of Caerbannog
Saturday Nigh Live. If my memory serves me, they actually sang "You are so Beautiful" together with Belushi mimicking Cocker.

on edit: it was an early show from the late 70s

5. I'll never forget that SNL show. They were saying the musical guest
Joe Cocker was there tonight. Out came John Belushi doing his Cocker impersonation. I think he had everybody fooled, then the real Joe Cocker came out on stage and joined him.
