Good Wednesday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Boy, these days are fairly flying by aren't they? 4 days till 2006! :bounce: Do you have plans to go out for New Years Eve or are you going to stay in and bring in 2006 at home? We'll probably stay at home and watch the ball drop in New York on TV, but then I'll have to go to bed right after that because I have to be to work at 10 on Sunday morning. x( As the saying goes...no rest for the wicked. Or at the very least, no rest for retail managers.

going good, going good. Holidays were great and NYE is right around the corner :)

We're hosting a BBQ and pool party (indoor heated pool :D) in the early evening then going to a club to watch the countdown and get our kisses then to an afterhours party at a friends. Nothing like 40 gay boys and their girlie friends partying till dawn to ring in the new year, eh?

:)

I've done that before too. The best fun for ME was watching (and in the end making fun of) those guys who were too drunk and were trying to dance! I've seen many guys bust their ass up on the dance floor.

God bless digital cameras for those "priceless" moments! :D

Last year I ended up dancing with (still don't know how) with this crazy, drunk, jamaican who couldn't keep his hands out of my pants. Drama. My friends relish in those memories of my torture to this day.

Now THAT is a sight I would have LOVED to see! I can just see it now...here's Scooter dancing with this guy and the guy keeps shoving his hand down your pants. You pull his arm out. Several times. Then, finally just give up and let it stay there until the end of the song, which ends up being almost 9 minutes long.:rofl:

Btw, Good morning to you too. As usual I am up to my ears in ideas and learning about computers online this morning. Or at least I am trying to learn. The tutorials for C# start over my head in some cases.

7. Morning, Jama!
:hi:
I was thinking about being here on DU also. I don't know, though...Greekspeak will want me to be with him instead of sitting on the computer.

Isn't C# and C++ and the like programming languages? I'm pretty computer savvy, but I'll leave the actual programming to the experts.

49. Yeah, it's a programming language.
I actually took a class but we didn't go as far as I wanted to go. I am trying to create a journal/scheduler application now. I may never finish it though at this rate. I keep searching for journal/diary type programs already made on the net, but never do seem to find a simple easy to use program. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to build one myself. I have a long way to go before I make it like I really want it though.

As to this year, I look forward to seeing you here. :bounce:

When was the last time you saw your Mom? If it has been a while, I'd go see her. If you see her often, I'd just call her, but be with my girlfriends. Then again, being up in the mountains sounds fun too. Unless there's lots of snow and you got snowed in and couldn't leave the next morning.

So I would like to take this moment to wish everyone a happy and progessive 2006. May all of our relationships grow and fulfill our needs and in turn those of every member of the planet. Thanks for the relationship, if only through the "internets" everyone!

43. I rarely go out on holiday evenings.
There are still far too many people who drink and drive.

I'll be home safe and sound, dreaming about Spring.

Many years ago when Teddy and I were together - there were two seasons:
The boat's in the water
The boat's out of the water.
Now my two seasons are:
It's warm enough to ride (even if I do need leathers)
There is ice on the road (I'm not taking my trike out)

I'm so happy for you that your entire family will be together. Sometimes home is the best place to be.

I am trying to recover before a round of (family-free) parties this weekend. It was very nice being with my extended family. I successfully avoided all familial landmines. I'm sorry to say that being relentlessly cheerful and kind over several days took its toll and I spent the 26th recovering. I am my balanced self again! ;-)
