Why all of a sudden second chance

2. There is money to be made
from us folks who have had bad luck or made bad choices in the past. Fees, fees, fees. I just opened a checking account, I get charged fees and am not allowed to have a debit card.

3. But but but... a debit card should be the "safe" choice
Oh, I just don't get banks. My credit union screwed me hard when I got a loan from them on my previous car, and Toyota, of all people, treated me right. Ugh, I just don't get it.

7. I thought it was not a problem to have a debit card,
but apparently it is based on credit score, according to my credit union. They *did* give me an ATM card, which at least allows me to get cash without standing in line.

5. I only use my debit card
I refuse to have credit cards anymore. They are immoral.

6. I ended up with a pre-paid debit card from a company
called Wired Plastic.

More fees to them....sigh.
