I watched War of the Worlds last night
and I can't figure out who was the LEAST annoying: the aliens, the actor who played Tom's son, or the little girl who played Tom's daughter.

Actually, that little girl was the MOST annoying.

Think she can scream just a little louder?

1. I liked the movie.
It was a good disaster/alien invasion movie in my opinion. So the kid screamed a bit. What would any 8 year old kid do if that was happening?
On top of that, in real life children are annoying- why should they be any different in a movie?
All in all, it was a good netflix selection and I recommend it. If I wanted a good story line and all that I would have rented something else.

2. I didn't say I didn't like the movie
I said that little girl was fucking annoying.

AND her screams.

Yes, kids ARE annoying.

She is more than others.

3. The little girl was more mature than the Dad.
She's like a mature 30 year old in a little girl body. I spent the whole movie thinking: "Kids don't act like that." But not quite as creepy as Haley Joel Osmet

Did you know that the tuba player who did the sound of the tripods is the same guy that did the mothership music in Close Encounters?

And that's my useless tidbit of the day.

Oh wait...one more.

Why don't aliens ever wear clothes. Their always naked and slimy. (Except T'Pol from Enterprise, and she's one that I would want to be naked.)

5. I wanted Mr. Scientology to kick the son's ass.
He was an asshole before the invasion. That scene where he forced Cruise to choose between himself and his sister made me think that he was getting a right cross at the end rather than the hug he got.
