Am getting DISH tv installed Saturday -- anything I need to know?

My sister insists there won't be any hidden costs, but I'm worried. It seems too good of a deal... it's cheaper than my cable by about 40%, for the same channels, and I get the DVR.....

in Richmond so that sounds about right.

Just don't add any channels and you should be all right.

9. Pause button on the DVR remote

that's how I do it, anyway. It treats even live progams as if they were recorded already.

11. I do too

If it something I really want to watch I pause it and go do a chore or something (play with the baby) and then start watching again and skip the commercials.

Watching football is a completely different experience now.

10. Everything runs through the DVR. You can even back it up

if you change channel you loose whatever you were watching though. It really is something.
