2. A movie about a guy who falls for a girl
Maybe she's totally hot, blonde, and out of his league. And the daughter of a rich guy. Possibly his boss. And like, her rich dad gets all mad about it. But after some funny scenes, the dad starts to warm up to him. And then all is cool in the end with a huge wedding, and the last scene, after the dude kisses the bride, he and her dad give eachother thumbs up.

3. I have modest desires for 2006
Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling get maximum jail terms.

Bush and Cheney are impeached and indicted.

People in our country realize what fuckups are running our country, and in a surprise move put aside their differences in getting these bastards out of our lives.

We take back the whole of Congress in November.

That the remainder of winter be mild here in New England because some of us can't afford too much more heating oil.

That Karl Rove is indicted and implicated in far more than just the Plame case.

That Grover Norquist is indicted for something, regardless of what it might be.

That the radical religious right continues to lose ground in their desperation to link church and state.

That Pat Robertson gets his due.

That Pigboy is finally put in jail.

That's about it right off the top of my head. See--modest requests.

4. Jobs and prosperity returned to America.
The Dow stagnant at 10.6k for 4 years is one hell of an omen... and I'm tired of their game; let it crash or bring back true prosperity.
