When I heard Manhiem Steamroller's version of "Oh Tannon Bom"(sp?) I thought at first that they were singing: "Oh Time Bomb"! And I used to think that "Baby Come Back" was "Baby Corvette". It wasn't until years later that I knew it was "Baby Come Back".

Got some others?

2. From when I was a kid
I thought it was "going to Alabama with a Band-aid on my knee" which made perfect sense to me.

I also thought "Walking in a winter wonderland" was "walking in our winter underwear" - I grew up in Vermont. That made perfect sense, too.

5. Alot of Nirvana lyrics
since they tend to sound meaningful when you hear them on the raido but end up being rather...pointless?
