**Update** on my dad
First, thanks everyone for your kind words and thoughts. I appreciate them.

My dad wasn't feeling well this morning. After he spent an unusually long time in the bathroom, my mother went in to check on him. He was passed out on the floor. She called 911 and the ambulance came. From what she described to me, I was pretty concerned.

When I was able to see him in the hospital, he was alert, (and quite grumpy.) He's had heart problems for quite some time, and tests indicated that certain enzymes were elevated that indicate heart stress. They admitted him to the hospital. He will be going to a major hospital (most likely tomorrow) for an angiogram. He might also need an angioplasty.

He doesn't really remember what happened this morning - he's fuzzy on the details - but at least he's coherent now.

6. Thanks for the update.
Grumpy is good... it's a sign that there's a lot of life, and self-awareness in him.

Angiograms are fairly standard procedures now. I'm sure he'll come through, and end up feeling much, much better. I certainly hope that you are feeling better, too.

Get some rest, so you can be there for them later.

My family went through a similar event. It is terrifying. My heart goes out to you. It sounds as if the worst of it is over and he will be just fine.
