If you've decided that you need to lose weight and take control over your general well being, why not check out the Weightloss/Maintenance group on DU?

Lots of great folks working to drop some extra pounds and support others as they do the same.

3. Actually just the opposite
I am recovering from anorexia. I still have more weight to gain. I also have to get more firm on normalyzing my eating. I won't go into detail because I know that much of it is the opposite of what you are trying to do.
I just want to remind all weight losers that good nutrition and a minimum number of calories from all 3 sources (carbs, protein, fats) is necessary for good health.

4. hey Nikia I'm glad you posted...
I think you might benefit (maybe) from the tips on maintaing weight. Normalizing eating habits is exactly what we're trying to do whether it's to gain or lose weight. I went through weightloss surgery and I'm learning a whole new style of eating. If you'd feel comfortable joining us, I'm sure you'd be a welcomed addition.

thanks for what you have shared.
