How often does your cat draw blood?
Mine is INSANE! I look Goth with all the scratches on my arm. Her name is Amber, but my oldest daughter has nicknamed her "Evil!"

1. You've had her classically trained in ballet!
And she's got a real set of headlights too!

2. About once a week . . .
Ginger and I play this little game called "fighter biter," where he gets lie on his back and attack my (well-sheathed) right arm. He never does this with anyone else, so I don't think it teaches him a "bad habit." The only problem is, once in a while he also claws up my right hand in his fervor (nothin' too serious, though.) :)

3. Tim does maybe every couple weeks, he just gets a little excited...
feels like a ninny head and runs away for awhile, but we know he doesn't really mean it he's just playing; hubby suggested i take to running and emory board across his points while we, Tim and i, are being calm just kicking it, and he has been letting me do just that so...it's all good

4. Yep, I think they do it
to "decompress" a little bit. Ginger's the same way. He's not trying to hurt me, and I can always tell when he's "in the mood," so I indulge it a bit. Using protection is the _key_. :)

5. So far she hasn't shown any drawing ability whatsoever
Though she has something of a proto-thumb, I still think holding a pencil would be somewhat difficult.

7. Now? Never. Edward the Terror has passed away.

R.I.P. to the most auspicious cat.

This guy had my entire neighborhood in fear. He didn't "play" with you like most cats do, he was literally trying to kill you. He would attack dogs when he ran outside and the dogs would run from him. If the kids got out of line Eddie would be brought in to restore order. The most unique cat that I've ever met. He was great and I miss him every day, the evil little bastard.

I have two cats now and both of them are syrupy sweet, wouldn't think of attacking you let alone attempt to kill you. They're great but they don't have an intimidation factor to speak of.

8. The current set of cats we have (seven)
rarely or never do. The only time one has even slightly grazed me is when i got between him and the cat he was fighting at the time.

I have had meaner cats; these guys are laid back and gentle even with little kids.

9. One of the cats with whom I play with a feather nails me
every few days, not meaning it if course. Sometimes my hand gets in the way of "grab the feather" game. If I never played that game with that cat, I would never have blood drawn
