Too bad Calvin and Hobbes isn't still around. There are still some funny strips, but graphically interesting ones are few and far between.

4. Yeah, seriously
I've got a book called "Charlie Brown and Charlie Schulz" which is mostly about "Peanuts" but also has a chapter on the history of the comics. It has some of the great old strips, but that's the first time I've seen a colorized Yellow Kid.

8. I just bought the new $120 Windsor McCay book!!!!!
"Little Nemo in Slumberland--So Many Splendid Sundays." I bought it as a present for myself. It is fantastic. The book is huge, with each page being a full size reproduction of the original Sunday comic page.

The first printing was only 5,000 copies, so I think it will be valuable.
