1. I've had that feeling!
Unfortunately, there was nothing for it but for me to get another mouse.

4. It's torture buying stuff like that.
Requires changing out of flannel pj's, finding car keys, locking my door, walking to the car, putting on the seatbelt, backing out, driving amongst the snowbirds in Sarasota, going into the store, looking, deciding, getting half way to the register, changing my mind, wondering if I should just leave the mouse where I'm standing or bring it back where I got it, leaving it where I stand, walk out of the store, drive home, kick myself for not buying it.

Tortured, I am.

2. A new mouse is really very inexpensive.
No need for aggravation.

19. Or DOS :)
I understand you don't want to buy a new one, but just for info, buying an optical mouse has saved my sanity, the mechanical ones used to frustrate me so much.

8. Cleaned it 3 times in the past 2 weeks. Jesus, do I need to
shower with it every day?

9. Well, it might like that...
Especially if it's a boy mouse... and even though it has only one ball... :wow:

Seriously — at the risk of underestimating you, did you take out the ball and clean it, and clean the three rollers?

Don't hit me... :hide:

22. That's not Stephen King
That's Leonard Wibberley.

"The Mouse Pad that Roared."

15. Hitler had only one ball too... maybe that's why people aren't nice!

And, yes, those balls do make a mess. Cleaning up after them is nasty, but worth the effort.

Get an optical mouse instead. Under $20, they're only exhibitionists...

11. Does everybody say that?
Every time I get mad at my computer (about 6 or 7 times a day), I curse and threaten to throw it out the window. Doesn't anyone throw things out doors?

~sigh~ These are the things I think about. :silly:

14. Doors are mostly made of wood
Windows are so much more satisfying as they smash into pieces and if you're on the top floor, the computer will fall several stories and then smash all over the ground. That thought is more appealing than have the computer bounce off the door and land on your foot.

20. You can do everything with the keyboard instead of the mouse
in Windows in the meantime.

You're talking to a lazy lazy little snipe who refuses to look up keyboard shortcuts.

24. You probably know to get an optical mouse
You'll never need to clean your mouse again. There's nothing to clean! Don't even need a pad.
