At the same time, why is it that such a huge amount of the best music was created by dope fiends?

Me, I love drugs, I just hate it when people take them too seriously. Anyone who claims to have seen God on acid or had some sort of vision quest while on peyote needs to be committed. For their own safety.

Though to my knowledge, no-one in the 3 ever stabbed anyone in art class or bit a hunk out of someone's arm. Both of which Joe V________ did. He REALLY shouldn't have used drugs.

Then again, perhaps if the 3 had done suchlike they might've sold more records. 'Tis pity, really.
