I fucking hate this war - fought for all the wrong reasons. I think of my daughter and knowing she would be in harm's way. And it makes me sick. She's not in the military, she's at University. But other people's kids are. And they love their children no less than I do mine.It breaks my heart.

Someone handed it to me in the airport on the way to Crawford. A couple youngish women walked up to me and my son and handed me a couple out of the blue. (can't remember which airport, think it was a bit south of Waco)

Life has been nuts lately. Dec. was spent taking care of my sick mother, driving 4500 miles total in 10 days to visit family for the holidays, and finding a new place to live. :-) We are moving to San Francisco! YEA! We just found a place in Pacifica and couldn't be more excited, the movers arrive on the 16th - so my ass is cleaning, purging, and organizing the house. Phew.

You have been on my mind too, you seem to be doing well (from the few times I have gotten on here but haven't had time to post I saw you post a bit, always happy, of course!) I miss DU and you! Tell me how YOU are!
