1. I'm a sucker for Epcot
I don't know why I like it so much but I do.
I'm from California but actually like the Florida park a bit better just cause it has those extras like Epcot and Animal Kingdom...makes for a better vacation overall.

I actually have never been to California Adventure.

2. The MGM part of WDW is the best!
Fun rides and stages with live shows and movie re-creations.

3. EPCOT is my strong #2
Especially like some small attractions like "Kitchen Caberet", "Journey into Imagination", Norway and Mexico pavilion rides. The food there is the best in all the parks.

4. In November we went to California Adventure
I liked it a lot, it is a smaller park, so everything can be done in less time. I am still a big Disneyland maven though...

Have been to both Disneyland and WDW, although I liked WDW, everything is so spread out there that you almost have to spend a week there in order to do everything you want (which can get quite costly.)

5. I agree, KitchenWitch
WDW is the place to go for the big $$ vacation and Disneyland is fun for going to the park for the day. :)

6. I've never been to any Disney park.
Edited on Sun Jan-08-06 10:43 PM by WritingIsMyReligion
Never. I had the opportunity to go when I was five but decided to do the hotel pool instead all day. What can I say; I hate crowds and I'm a sucker for swimming! I think my mom was so relieved at not having to "do" Disney that she would have cheerfully died then and there for me.

7. The Magic Kingdom.
But it's really hard for me to choose, I love them all.

8. All of Walt Disney World.
I love the whole experience of being there. The hotels, the theme parks, the water parks---it's awesome. I've been there three times. We stayed on the property each time.

I've been to Disneyland three times, too, but have never specifically gone there for a vacation. It's certainly fun, but it just has the one park, and it's not even as big as the Magic Kingdom in Disney World.

9. Disneyland is always incorporated into our visits to my inlaws
and in most cases, people who vacation in SoCal don't just go to Disney.

I have been to WDW twice, and stayed in one of the Disney resorts both times. I believe it is the only way to go, as I have very little interest in Universal Studios - Orlando. The only thing I want to do next time we go to WDW is to go to Cape Canaveral and visit NASA.

10. We did that once (visit Cape Canaveral/NASA) when we were down there.
I think it was the first time we went, but I don't remember much of it---I was in late elementary school.

12. NASA is an awesome sight .....
That crawler that hauls the shuttle is such a feat....

To see a launch of the shuttle is such an awesome event as well. The ground will shake under your feet while you stand 7 miles away.

11. MGM Studios....
Last year I went to a conference with PPG and they rented out MGM for the night. Best amusement park time I've ever had. No lines and lots of free booze. Yeah my opinion is skewed by another companies money but I'll never forget that trip (or the Jacuzzi afterward).

13. Been to Disneyland three or four times.
....but the last time was when Reagan was in the White House, so I'm long overdue for another visit.

14. I'm gonna vote for Blizzard Beach
with Epcot a close second. We go to the water parks every morning, out by eleven, and on to a major park that afternoon. We'll be there this June for a couple of weeks.

15. Disney Cruise Line
I file it under "other Disney places"

If you havent done a Disney cruise - WOW. Take all the fun of the theme parks and hotels, and put them on a ship. No huge crowds, short lines, because the ship is made to hold only so many people. Great food!

16. Another vote for EPCOT
I loved both the science part and the international. Got to see Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits) while I was there a few years back.
By far the scariest I went on was the bus back to the hotel on Friday night. I let some older people have my seat and the bus went so fast I ended up in the old guy's lap a few once...:P
