3. I'm going to Lower Matecumbe Key, just south of Islamorada.
But, taking a day and night in Key West for heathen activities.

We booked a room overnight so we don't have to worry about driving back Islamorada.

12. Climb in. The Fun Express is leaving in approx 19 hours and counting.
Although I do deserve the right to begin the party at any moment because I have officially signed off my work email for the week. I fooled them into thinking that I was leaving today and took the day off. I logged on this morning to tie up a few loose ends and voila!

Let's get this party started!

and go to Key West around Fourth of July for a few days every year... but the stuff I'd recommend you bring is not really safe to bring onto an airplane, where there's, like, searches and stuff :evilgrin:

Good God.... a couple of those Fourth of July weekends in Key West have been straight out of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Terrible, terrible.

20. Oh! I do have one suggestion...
If you stay overnight in Key West, stay at the Eden House.... www.edenhouse.com.

No place better on the island. Free booze poolside for an hour every day (4-5 pm), great atmosphere, walking distance to downtown.

18. I went to Key West about this time of year, a couple of years back
Loved it. Great restuarnants, variety of attractions.

Stayed in a Victorian B & B on the small bit of beach on the east side.

25. I'm going to a key just South of Islamorada.
It's 90 miles south of Miami and 75 miles north of Key West. It's called Lower Matecumbe Key.

26. I've just stocked up the place for my dog sitter.
I'm taking his wife to the Keys with me and he's staying with my dog. He's getting the short end of the stick.

I just fully stocked the fridge with munchies and Molson. I got my XBox ready to go (yes, I'm one of the only single 30+ women on the planet with an XBox) and I stopped and picked him up a Blockbuster gift card to rent a few games this week.

I told him if he really wants to "bachelorize" the place while we are away he can get out his blow-up beer couch out of storage and his dart board. It's his place for the week! I just ask that cigars stay outside.
